Barb- I love it. I just wanted to thank you so so much for the Apron. It could not have come on a better day at a better time. I needed a little pick me up and you did it. Thank you so much. It's so adorable and I am so happy to have the pattern to make some! You're the best. Love ya.

To run or not to run

This is one of those posts I never do, It's just boring to post without pictures but....sorry.

So my sister in-law (Bre) just got out here in Long Island and we've been running together everyday. I love running, but just a few miles I am not one to push myself to run 10 miles a day. Come on! Bre on the other hand ran a marathon and a 1/2 marathon in the last 6 months which is amazing. She wants me to run a 1/2 marathon with her in August. It sounds so fun it's through Central Park and downtown Manhattan. I am going to train of course but still the thought freaks me out. I am not one of those born to be a runner people I really have to work hard at it. So now I am all nervous about it. I don't wan to sign up and go and not be able to do it, I want to finish and run the whole time! This would be a HUGE accomplishment for me. I seriously think if I actually did it then I would probably cry at the finish line, It's 13.1 miles that's a lot for me! I guess the point of this post if please help me all you runners out there!!!! Give me advice, tell me best ways to train, I mean I have a little under 4 months until the day but I let my nerves get to me! Help.

I just want to wish my one and only little sister a happy birthday today! She is 21 oh yea! I miss her terribly she is one of my best friends and so much fun to hang out with. Love ya Tristan!

Special day!

We made it!!

The front of our cute place!Ok so we made safely here, dogs are great no seizures for sweet little Cali. Mark got pretty sick our last day driving which caused him to lose his voice until today! I can't tell you how frustrated he has been not being able to speak at the meetings and train his guys. So thank goodness he woke up with somewhat of a voice so he can finally work today, I know he is really happy about that. My apologies to friends and family that have been wanting to see these pictures but I had to unpack everything to find my camera charger :) I only have a couple so far but I will of course keep everyone updated throughout the summer.             (look who's peeking out the door)

Our little patio, it's nice and private we can't see our neighbors at all.  This complex where we live is so huge but it's quiet and very fun. This is the pond in our backyard. It's got fountains going all the time and geese are always in the water, the little neighbor girls go feed them everyday. I don't even know how many ponds are around here almost every building has one  behind it.

Here we go! We leave first thing Friday morning hoping to arrive in Long Island on Sunday. Can't wait to get the drive over with, poor dogs! I'll be posting are new adventures soon enough. until then---love y'all

Tawn -------The next day was Tristan's wedding and it was so AWESOME!. It was just a huge fun dance party. I had the best time and I think most people did. It was so unique. The food was amazing and Tristan and Marco looked amazing. I don't have pictures to post because we are waiting for the professional ones.
