Best Husband Ever!!

OK so I had to share this with everyone! My birthday was last week and Mark has been working 2 hours away for 2 weeks now! So I decided to drive up on Wednesday and spend the night so I could be with him on my Birthday. We went to dinner that night and had this funny conversation about how he hates surprises and that's why he has NEVER since we've been married surprised me with any gift. He usually says oh I got you this and that or I was going to get you this and that. This year he said he got me a card and nothing else (because I told him I couldn't think of anything I wanted.) Now another part of the story, for the past year at any holiday Mark will ask what I want or he'll call my family members to find out what to get me and I tell him and I tell all of my family to tell him to get me a Mac Book Laptop. We already have a laptop that it just fine, I just want a Mac. So I never thought he would do it. It was always sort of a joke when I would tell him that because it's something I knew we didn't need so I knew he'd never do it. Well people as you can see by that picture HE DID IT!! and to top it off He didn't spoil the surprise at all. I had no Idea and I was completely shocked. I just couldn't stop smiling. He is so awesome. I am so happy. It was the best birthday ever!!!

Hanging with the Elders

This weekend was a great one for me! First I went to visit Mark and while I was in DE we had an office party at Rehoboth Beach which was so much fun! Second I was lucky enough to have Mark come home from Dover Delaware to visit me!! And Third Mark's great friend Geoff's family came to town and took us around Baltimore with them for a day! The Elders are one of our most favorite families. We always have a blast with them. They really are extremely kind people. We went on the 'Ride the Ducks' tour around the city which was great fun. 1/2 of it shows all the land stuff and the other 1/2 is in the water taking us around the harbor. We saw Little Italy and the very fancy ritzy part of Baltimore which was fun to see. Then we went to Cheesecake Factory!! yum it's always amazing.

I hope your trip is going great! Dakota is wonderful! She has been perfect. They are all getting along great. I have some fun stories for you upon your return about Dakota being my protector at night time on our walks. When Shade and her play I forget to pull the camera out so these are the best pics I have for ya. They run around like crazy at night and even Cali has been getting into it too, they all go too fast I couldn't get a good pic. Have fun don't worry.

Vacation!!!

Last week I took a well needed little vacay back home to Utah. Here are some fun pics of a few things I did. I left out Deer Creek Camping all those pictures are on my waterproof camera. Oops! First thing I wanted to do was eat at my fav fast food joint that finally arrived in utah....El Pollo Loco!!!! Next on my list was visit our new home. It's been under construction for about 2 months now and neither of us have seen it. I love it! It's absolutely perfect so far. My bro's Dane and Brandon took me on a Motorcyle ride up to Squaw Peak on evening. My mom and dad came along. I hadn't been up there in a long time ;)

Both my sisters Tawn and Tressa are stay at home mom's and haven't been able to get alone time in a while so we decided along with my mom to head to Lagoon!!! What a day it was. We went on the skycoaster swing. I was so terrified I couldn't even get a smile out in that picture. I couldn't feel my legs or my arms, for real! It turned out really fun though.

The fam got together for a cruiser ride up the canyon. One of the most relaxing things I do. It's so fun especially when we all go. I guess we truely are a Cali fam.

The trip was so fun and well needed. I am excited to get home in October and hang with the fam again and see my house!!!
