This is a holiday we don't usually do much for. Maybe flowers and cards, depends on the year. Mark went all out this year, He was working in Vegas so on Saturday I drove (with my friend steph, who's hub was also working) to meet him. We started off with a great Sushi Dinner followed by a couple rides on the top of the Stratosphere which is hands down our fav ride EVER!
The next day we shopped a little, met up with Marks dad for lunch then checked into our hotel. So here is where it gets so amazing for me. We are generally pretty cheapo hotel people. Mark planned for us to stay at the Palazzo Hotel. I was so excited, what he didn't tell me is he got us a suite that is 1000 sq ft and had an awesome view of the strip! I was in heaven!
For Valentines day we shopped, Gambled, ate at Marks fav Vegas restaurant Grand Lux Cafe which conveniently was located in our hotel. We went to the Beatles Love Cirque show and it was sooo good. We exchanged cards (mine was a Glee card, perfect since it's my new obsession!) it was seriously perfect!
I know you can't see my voucher well but I was so excited because I put $5 in the .25 slots and won $157!!!! yay
I hope somebody reading this watches the show Pawn Stars. It's on the history channel and we love it. So of course we had to go there. It was pretty cool being there and seeing some of the stuff they show on TV.
