Sub for Santa

If anybody is interested in doing sub for Santa this year and maybe doesn't know how to get involved here is some contact info. You only need to spend $60-$75 per kid. Jenn said she still has 400 families that haven't been helped this year. For some reason I failed at taking photos today:( this is it. We did the turkey trot at mtn view this morning, it's a 4 mile run but um it was 7 degrees so a just a bit chilly! Somehow we fought through our numbness and had a lot of fun

Astle Family Halloween Partay

We decided to have a tradition on Halloween to get together in costumes and eat delish food and trick or treat! Since none of my brothers+wives+kids showed up it's was just and Astle sister party. The decor, drinks and food was fun and festive. My awesome parents, Mom was a 65 yr old preg women, she said it brought back way too many memories (she was pregnant 12 times!) My pops was a Monk. Tress and Cory were rockers, addy was a super cute bear. Luna was a Giraffe while her parents Trist and Marco were Safari People which was very cute. Tawn was the White Queen from Alice and Wonderland. Little Luna Koben was a baby Jay as woody and Cam as a which Christian in his adorable buzz stance with his swirly!

We had fun Trick or Treating this year! As always was great and it still of course one of our fav holidays.

Halloween Party Friday Night

Mark's cuz Scott and Mckenna Brown threw a great costume party Friday night. We all voted and picked a winner! Me and My hubs as Popeye and Olive Oyl Jared and Malia The winners, Dallas and Kylie Cute Little Dragon Carter and his Knight and Princess Steph and Aaron Where's Waldo, Scott Mckenna and Jazzy Brian and Bre, Marks brother and wife Geoff and Stacy Chris and Myleka Winners Trophy, There were many other interesting costumes at the party, From dexter to hicks to barbie and ken. I just didn't know the peeps so I didn't get photos of all of them :(

Cornbellys, After Hours

We went with a couple of my brothers and my Sister last week to go through the corn maze. It turned out to be so fun cuz we got there right before they closed so we got to play on everything with nobody there. The Maze was lame, we thought it was going to be haunted. Since Mark somehow always works his sweet talking magic, he got us all free weekend passes so we could go through the haunted corn maze. Hopefully it will be scary!! Dallas, Brando and Tawn with their crazy long tongues I think I had about 50 pictures of Gav posing for the camera. He loves himself.....hahaha So they have Mechanical bull, I thought that was the face I wouldve made if it had been working. Tawn and I did a few water ducky races. It's kinda tough, hurt my hand. the chicks going down the slide. it kinda shot us off the end. Brando and of course gav witht he final pose! Love my bros.

Trip to Mesa

I flew to AZ last week to hang out with my brother Dane, His Wife Gretchen and their 2 kids Lillie and Ethan. I hadn't met Ethen yet since he was born right after we moved to Ohio. He is so cute.

We went on a bike ride one night. Isn't Danes Set up so cool? While he was in amsterdam he picked up that bike seat lillie is in. By the end the kids fell asleep. Lillie was bobbin her head all over it was so funny. Gretchen and I took the kids to a fun kids museum, they can make forts, play grocery store, ride trikes, paint and the list goes on forever. It was so cool. I hear we have one of those at the gateway. I suggest going. My last day we drove to Thatcher Az to see the new temple. My brother designed the entire thing. It is a very pretty temple. Along the way we saw a ton of cotton fields. Something that was new to me :) So I am always paranoid of scorpions when I visit them. They have found a couple in their bed and they see them in their house once a week or so. Dane said he has been stung about 5 or 6 times. I hadn't seen one until the last night. It came from under the front door. Creepy little guys.

It was such a fun relaxing trip. I miss those kids so it's good to visit and spend time with them.
