...and back again

We went back to DC yesterday with a bunch of friends from our office out here. A few had never been to DC before so I was excited for them. Last year I went at least 10 times and most of them Mark came, but somehow he never saw the White House. So of course we had to take a photo being that this was his first time. Sadly it just happened to be the coldest day since we've been out here too!!!

FIGHT NIGHT

We love the UFC! We had a bunch of people over last night for the party. I made dinner with help from Ashley. We had 4 dogs here too. It was awesome. But....What made it even better of course was that GEORGES ST-PIERRE won the title fight, he is my #2 fighter. RICH FRANKLIN won his fight, he is my #1 fighter. Wish you and Josh were here to join in Mal! It wasn't the same without you. None of the other girls were into it!

Yes that's right that is my hand and those are bright sparkly orange nails! Don't ask why. Just admire them because I know what you're all thinking. You're just jealous and you're going to copy me aren't ya? Ha. so really though...I did this because the lady that does my nails always wants me to do something other then white. I am always to scared though so I told her that the last time I come in before Baltimore I'll do something crazy. She wanted me to do bright pink! I couldn't, I 'm not a pink person. So we compromised with bright orange. It really didn't look so bad on the sample hand she showed me. Oh well. I guess it's fun and different for....the next 2 weeks. Then probably back to white. I will admit I'm a little self conscious when people mention them!

Lilly Mae Astle Born April 12th 6lbs 7oz 19 in. So adorable isn't she? These photos were taken right when she was born and she looks so cute. I usually think babies look a little funny right after they are born. I wish I could see her so bad!!

I think she looks a lot like Dane.

What a night at the Movies

Ok so we decided to go see this movie Leatherheads last night. I think we sat through 20 min at the most! So slow and so boring. Love the actors in it, don't love the acting or the story. Sorry to anyone that enjoyed it. We leave Leatherheads and Street Kings was starting and I am with 3 guys so I don't really get a say here. It was a good story. I have seen a lot of these types of movies...Training Day, The Departed, American Gangster and it goes on and on. This one was the most violent and most horrible laguage out of all of them! I can really handle a lot. This maybe too much violence for me though. If you want to go to either of these movies feel free. I am just puttng this out there to help out. WARNING

Getting Settled

We've been in Baltimore for a few days now and are just getting settled. It's always a little weird moving and getting used to a new place. It doesn't feel like home yet, but soon it will. The dogs are doing great after 3 days in the car. Cali was amazing she didn't get too stressed and no seizures and only a few shakes on the last day. It was a blessing. They are loving the sunny warm weather we've had our first few days here. I had to take these pics today because they have just been so tired they plop anywhere to sleep. I have mixed feelings today! I am sad because my brother Dane and his wife Gretchen are having their first baby right now and I won't get to see her until christmas unless I go home for a visit this summer. I am so happy for them they will be amazing parents. It's a girl and her name is Lily Mae Astle. Congrats Dane and Gretch I love you guys!!!
